Object-oriented programming can lead to cleaner designs, easier maintenence, and greater code reuse. Come along for the journey as we explore the popular programming paradigm known as OOP. This session provides an introduction to PHP classes, methods, properties, and inheritence and then goes into storing and retrieving your data using the PHP Data Objects (PDO) extension to interact with a MySQL database.
